Terms of Service
In effect from 2026-09-24.
These terms govern your use of Data Cartel Cloud. They are the Common Paper Terms of Service version 2.1, published at commonpaper.com/standards/terms-of-service, incorporated here in full together with the Cover Page below. The Cover Page fills in what the standard terms leave open, and where the two differ the Cover Page wins.
By creating a workspace you agree to them. If something here is unclear, ask before you sign up rather than after.
Cover Page
Company: PRIORA, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, P.O. Box 1469, Grantham, NH 03753, United States. Data Cartel is a product PRIORA, LLC sells.
Customer: the company or organization that creates a workspace. Whoever accepts these terms confirms they may do so on that organization's behalf.
Cloud Service: Data Cartel Cloud. A hosted portal an organization's data team uses to publish roadmaps, changelogs, documents, health checks, metrics and updates to the business units it serves, at the organization's own address on datacartel.io, including the datacartel-mcp automation server.
Effective Date: the date the Customer creates a workspace.
Subscription Period: one month, renewing automatically.
Fees: $99 per month per organization, after a 14-day free trial. Fees are exclusive of taxes, so the Customer pays any sales tax, VAT or similar tax due on them.
Payment Process: a card is required to start the trial and is charged automatically each month in advance, through Stripe. The first charge is when the trial ends. The merchant of record is PRIORA, LLC, and charges appear on statements as PRIORA.
Non-Renewal Notice: cancel at any time before the end of the current Subscription Period, from Billing in the product. Cancelling stops the next charge and does not refund the current period.
Governing Law: the laws of the State of Delaware. Chosen Courts: the state and federal courts located in New Hampshire.
General Cap Amount: the standard default, being the fees paid or payable in the 12 months before the claim.
Provider notice address: legal@datacartel.io. Customer notice address: the email address on the Customer's account.
Use Limitations: the Customer must not upload special category personal data, meaning health, biometric, genetic, racial or ethnic, political, religious, trade union, or sex life or sexual orientation data, and must not upload payment card data. The service is not built for either and is not offered for either.
Technical Support: by email to hello@datacartel.io. No response time is promised, and none should be relied on.
Service Level Agreement: none. There is no uptime commitment and no service credits.
Professional Services: none.
Data Processing Agreement: the DPA published at datacartel.io/dpa.
Security Policy: the security overview published at datacartel.io/security.
Covered Claims, increased or unlimited claim amounts, additional warranties, and insurance requirements: none beyond the standard terms.
The free trial
The trial runs 14 days from the day the workspace is created, and a card is collected up front. Cancel during the trial and you are not charged. After it, the subscription begins and the card is charged.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the standard terms allow. If a change materially affects a Customer we will email the owners of each organization before it takes effect, and the current version is always published here with its date.
